A dark ruby red wine with garnet highlights. Intense aromas of mint spiced and ripe red-berry fruits. The perfume carries into the palate, very pleasantly warm and satisfying, with soft tannins. The taste is persistent and finishes with a graceful richness inviting another sip...

To make a Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon that could compete, we began by looking for fruit grown primarily in soils with high water drainage and little topsoil. This type of soil produces intense fruit that translates into aromatic and complex wines. We keep each individual vineyard lot separate through the fermentation process. The lots are evaluated and blended. The bright fruit and forward nature of our Micante is a very satisfactory result for our best target wines.
